AI enables analysis of larger datasets, simulation of multiple scenarios, and verification of solutions against more indicators, providing better decision-making foundations and more well-optimized solutions for the built environment. Next Research conducts long-term, often externally funded research in collaboration with universities, authorities, and the private sector. The focus is on practice-oriented research that builds new knowledge and creates a clear link between research and application — where insights progressively become new innovations or are applied in Tyréns assignments, contributing real value to society and clients. The research spans areas such as climate adaptation, circular construction, energy systems, and data ethics — and strengthens Tyréns' ability to lead with knowledge in a changing built environment.
